zen and the art of blogging
yeah means no, sorta.
My great friend who is teaching English n Japan called last night and told me one of the funniest stories I have heard in a long time! She was gracious enough to let me post it when I told her I would love to put it on my blog.
So Sammie, my friend, is a bit on the outgoing side. She has been dating a very shy Japanese man for about a month now and 2 nights ago she decided she was ready to have him spend the night. She said this is basically how the night went:
After a nice dinner and a few drinks they went back to her place and were ready to have a romantic night of intimacy. She had even bought a new sexy matching lingerie set. She told me she made all the moves, being all flirty and keeping close to him all night. He, naturally, was the quiet one.
Well jump ahead to the moment of truth. She was all in the heat of the moment, the 2 of them finally being intimate together, and he was really starting to get going. She said she was quite impressed with his 'skills' and began to say "Oh yeah..Oh yeahhhh" over and over.
She said "That's when suddenly everything went horribly wrong". She said "He just stopped. No warning, no 'accident', nothing". So naturally she asked what was wrong..telling me "I had a million thoughts rush through me..was I not good enough?..was there a 'problem' he hadn't told me about?.." He apologized profusely, and said he just couldn't go through with it and said he would tell her after he figured out how to get his words right. She, being a English teacher, liked him to speak in English as much as possible. So they went out to the living room..and after about 10-15 min. of complete silence (awwkwarrd!) he just said in broken English "I was ..frightened". "Why?" Sammie asked. "Uhhh..you say.."Oh yeah" a lot...and..that..uhh...means 'parents' in Japanese." She said she was almost in tears from laughing so hard! She then told me she should have thought about that before and said she told him she'll try and say something else instead next time!
LMAO!!!!
So wrong on so many levels, but so damn funny!!!
Peace.
