zen and the art of blogging

I got my IRS check back awhile ago and have been like a little boy in a candy store wondering what to get.  I'm a gadget junkie n looked at a few fun trinkets , like a new Blueray DVD player, or a blackberry, or even a bigger TV. But, I settled on getting better furniture for my room. I have had the same nightstand and desk for at least 10 yrs.!
So, I just got these at IKEA this weekend. I coulda spent a lot more time in there! So many cool things. These were great deals. The nightstand was $49 and the desk was only $99! 

It was a fun challenge to re-decorate my room. I like the whole white and black color scheme too.  Yessss, cuz of the Yin-Yang  idea.
