zen and the art of blogging

Ok, I know there are a lot of posts about it, but I'm putting in my opinion/review on The Dark Knight as well. Followed by a song I heard n just love. Great vid too!

So my friend scored tickets to see the new Batman movie, and we went to the 6 pm showing last night. I was quite excited, since I really wanted to see this one badly. (For those who don't know, I'm a bit of a comic fan) Plus, not only was I getting to see it for free, but everyone at this showing got a free popcorn as well! Gotta luv a free bag of fake buttered popcorn at a movie right?!
No worries, I won't give any spoilers..*cough neonite cough* . In all honesty I think this is by far the best comic movie made yet! Everything from the acting (Heath Ledger was brilliant as The Joker, beautifully creepy), the great variety of camera shots, lighting, all the way to the storyline were all done very well. The film was made for a IMAX theater format and that was what I saw it in. If you can, see it in that way! The picture is so much more detailed. The whole 'like your right there' effect. I 'spose if I had to be negative about something in this film, it would be the so-so part of Rachel Dawes, played by Maggie Gyllenhaul, who replaced Katie Holmes. (Oh, was she gone?..didn't notice. )The love interest of both Harvey Dent and Batman had it's moments, but could have been better. So, my rating is a big 5 star, 2 thumbs up, go see it!

And now, from visual, to audio. Ever hear of this song by Touch and Go, called 'Would you go to bed with me?' It's sooo fun! Cute, catchy, flirty, with just the right amount of instrumental cheese. There are a couple of music vids made for it, but this ones my fave.
